Albron extends lease contract by six years

Company uses tenancy extension as the start of a more sustainable office space

Foodservice organization Albron has extended the lease of its office space at Rijnzathe 11 in De Meern by six years. As part of the extension of the lease, the landlord will make the 5,061 sq. m. buildingincluding 160 parking spaces, more sustainable, by going from a B to an A label. This has made the building future-proof again.

CBRE advised Albron on the renewal of the lease. APF International advised on behalf of the landlord, Ares.

Albron invents, builds and manages food concepts for companies, governments, schools and universities, hospitals and healthcare institutions. Sustainability is an important theme here. For example, together with Ballast Nedam and Strukton, Albron initiated The Green House in Utrecht: a circular catering pavilion built using recycled materials from the old Knoopkazerne. With approximately 4,500 employees and close to 1,000 branches in the Netherlands, Albron is one of the country’s larger food service organizations.
