Bruil Beleggingsmaatschappij Ede sells industrial development in Arnhem

Investment company Bruil Beleggingsmaatschappij Ede recently sold its build-to-suit project in Arnhem to Titan Wood for €23,000,000. It concerns a new industrial complex complete with offices covering a total floor area of 19,477 sq. m. on a 3.5 ha plot. The complex has been very sustainably constructed and issued with energy label A.

The premises are located at Westervoortsedijk 73 on Kleefse Waard industrial park in Arnhem. Covering 90 hectares, Kleefse Waard (IPKW) in Arnhem was formally an AkzoNobel complex that dates back to 1941. It is mainly home to specialist companies from the production and clean-tech industry. The companies based on the site share the facilities on this secured industrial park.

The new owner of the site, Titan Wood B.V., a division of British company Accsys Technologies PLC, will use it as a production site and storage facility, and to house its offices. Titan Wood is the producer of the patented Accoya wood. With a lifespan of up to fifty years, this type of modified hardwood is highly sustainable and is used for various applications in construction. Accsys Technologies PLC is listed on the NYSE and the London Stock Exchange.
