Canadian chain John Fluevog Shoes opens first European store in Amsterdam

Heiligeweg 37

John Fluevog Boots & Shoes is scheduled to open a store in Amsterdam in mid-March 2018. The Amsterdam store will be the first on European soil for the Canadian designer shoe chain, which currently has multiple stores across North America. John Fluevog Boots & Shoes Ltd. has signed a long-term lease with the pan-European retail property company Vastned.

The store will be located at Heiligeweg 37 in Amsterdam. The store has a total floor space of approximately 75 sq. m. on the ground floor and additional space on the upper floors.

The new tenant is excited about the new location in Amsterdam. Adrian Fluevog of John Fluevog Boots & Shoes: “The opening of this store marks our first step on the European retail market. Amsterdam has been on our shortlist for a long time and now that we have 24 profitable stores in prime locations across North America, we believe the time has come to get a foothold in Europe.”

CBRE advised John Fluevog Boots & Shoes in this transaction.
