CBRE expands Asset Services team
CBRE has expanded its Assets Services team with the appointment of Bjørn te Nijenhuis (42) and Joep Wensveen (44). They have joined the Shopping Centre Management division.
Bjørn previously worked at Ahold. As Associate Director, he and his team will focus on advising several Dutch and international clients on managing their retail portfolios. Joep joins CBRE from Klépierre. As Senior Technical Manager, he will be responsible for the technical management of a core high street portfolio, including De Bijenkorf Amsterdam and its parking facility.
In an increasingly polarizing retail market, the value of inside knowledge regarding retailers and retail real estate should not be underestimated. The arrival of Bjørn and Joep strengthens our team with two senior real estate & retail experts who speak both the language of retailers and investors.
We are noticing that our clients are increasingly looking for substantive advice in order to make the right strategic decisions. By combining our expertise in retail property management with other retail specialisms within CBRE, we can offer our clients a uniquely comprehensive advice package.
CBRE’s Asset Services team focuses primarily on maximizing the value of office buildings, shopping centres and logistics centres through management at the technical, commercial and financial levels. You can read more here.
