First Rotterdam agrees contract with new tenant

First Rotterdam has agreed a contract with a new tenant for the building of the same name opposite Rotterdam Central railway station. From 1 September 2017, FitForMe will lease approximately 1,050 sq. m. of office space on the 18th floor of the FIRST building (Weena 785-874). The long-term contract also includes four parking spaces in the multi-storey car park.

FIRST is a joint, sustainable development by Maarsen Groep and Rabo Vastgoedgroep. Completed in mid-2016, the building has a BREEAM Excellent certificate and comprises approximately 40,000 sq. m. of office accommodation, 10,000 sq. m. of which is still available for rent. FitForMe joins Robeco, Nauta Dutilh, Cushman & Wakefield, Petrobras Netherlands and DHB Bank, who also have leases in the building.

During this transaction, the tenant was advised by Rockstone. CBRE collaborated with Cushman & Wakefield in advising FIRST Rotterdam.
