Friso Sijbertsma becomes Director of Retail at CBRE
Friso Sijbertsma (42) has joined the Advisory & Transactions Leasing Team at international real estate advisor CBRE. In his role as Director of Retail, Friso will be concentrating on Investor Leasing. Together with Bjørn Brink, he will be managing various projects and integrated teams of retail and other specialists. Bjørn Brink is responsible for the occupier leasing of retail property.
Friso has over 15 years of experience in the retail property market, working in portfolio, asset and property management. He has been Associate Director of Shopping Centre Management at CBRE for the past five years. Prior to that, his roles included Operating Manager at Unibail-Rodamco and Head of Shopping Centre Management at Grontmij Vastgoedmanagement B.V.
Before starting work, Friso studied at the faculty of Architecture of Eindhoven University of Technology and at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate, where he obtained a Master’s in Real Estate (MRE) in 2011.
