MSC extends lease of 4,680 sq m in Rotterdam’s De Eendracht Building

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) and Valad Europe have recently extended their multi-year lease in Rotterdam’s De Eendracht Building, located at Westblaak 182-232. The lease involves approximately 4,680 sq m of office space and 22 parking spaces.

The De Eendracht Building is located in Rotterdam’s cultural hub, close to the Boymans van Beuningen Museum, the Kunsthal, De Doelen and within walking distance of Erasmus MC and the popular Witte de Withstraat shopping and entertainment area.

MSC, originally a Swiss company and founded in 1970, has developed into an international shipping concern specialising in container transport. MSC has around 480 container ships that call on ports in more than 150 countries.

Valad Europe has an investment property portfolio of €3.7bn and investment assets under management spread across 26 funds and mandates in Europe. The Valad Europe Benelux team consists of 24 employees who manage a fund of approximately €1bn, which has been invested in about 110 properties, with a total of 730 tenants.
