Regus leases 1,500 sq.m. in the Bastion building in ‘s-Hertogenbosch

Regus, the world's largest provider of flexible workplaces, is set to open a second location in ’s-Hertogenbosch. In the wake of increasing business activity in the city, Regus has agreed a lease with Deka-S-Property No. 1 The Netherlands for office space in the Bastion building. The long-term lease involves approximately 1,520 sq. m. and 30 parking spaces in the underground car park. The office space will be completely re-outfitted and the new business centre is expected to be ready for use in early September.

The building, located at Willemsplein 2-4, was built in 1951 and modernized in 2006 based on a design by Pi de Bruijn. Its characteristic features include large windows and vaulted towers. The Bastion building has an energy label A and covers a total of approximately 30,000 sq. m. of office space. In the last nine months, around 3,300 sq. m. of office space have been let in the building. It has a favourable location opposite the city's Palace quarter, within walking distance of the central station and the centre of ’s-Hertogenbosch.

The lessor was advised in this transaction by HRS Bedrijfsmakelaars, partner in Dynamis. As part of its international strategy, Regus aims to increase the number of its locations in the Netherlands to around 200 to 250 in the years ahead. The organisation is still in search of new locations in various places. Regus is being advised in this matter by CBRE.
