Regus to open new business center in Central Utrecht in August

Regus, the world’s largest provider of flexible workspaces, has agreed a long-term lease with property investor Vastint Netherlands for 945 sq.m. of office accommodation at St. Jacobstraat 123-135 in Utrecht. Gebouw Jacob (Jacob Building) dates from 1958 and was recently subject to partial upgrading and sustainability improvements.
The five-storey building has a simple, timeless building style and is immediately recognisable because of its distinctive austere architecture. In addition to the various office users, Jacob is also home to outdoor sports specialist Bever Zwerfsport and Sixt Car Hire on the ground floor.

It is opposite the Vredenburg music venue and a short distance from Utrecht Central Station, Hoog Catharijne shopping centre, Neude Square and the Oudegracht (old canal) area, where there are various cafés, restaurants and stores.

As part of its international strategy, Regus aims to increase the number of its locations in the Netherlands from around 200 to 250 in the years ahead. It is still in search of new locations in various places. Regus is being advised in this matter by CBRE.
