Søstrene Grene signs lease for retail accommodation in Hoog Catharijne

Søstrene Grene, the Danish chain of lifestyle stores, has opened its twelfth branch in the Netherlands. The company is leasing 252 sq. m. of retail accommodation and 151 sq. m. of warehouse space in the renovated Hoog Catharijne shopping centre. The centre is owned by Klépierre.

CBRE's Advisory & Transaction Services Retail advised Søstrene Grene, which is working towards nationwide store coverage throughout the Netherlands. CBRE is assisting in finding suitable locations to let.

Søstrene Grene aims to enrich everyday life through aesthetic design, creativity, happiness and ‘hygge’: a special state of satisfaction, warmth and living in the present. The lifestyle stores offer a wide assortment for the home, interior and kitchen as well as artisanal products, DIY, party items, gifts, products for school, office and children and a variety of seasonal items. The Danish retail chain was founded in 1973 by Anna and Clara Grene, two sisters in their golden years who work hard to achieve small but uplifting differences to everyday life. They take their inspiration from the Grene family, which still owns and runs Søstrene Grene to this day. Søstrene Grene has over 190 stores in 60 countries and more are opening all the time.
