Three new tenants for Margriettoren Amsterdam

SR Group, Wordhouse and a financial services provider have all signed long-term leases for office space in the Margriettoren in Amsterdam. With these transactions, totalling approximately 1,200 sq. m., the building is now fully let. The office building is located at Haaksbergweg 75 in Amsterdam Zuidoost.

Location

The Margriettoren is a landmark with an optimal location in the high-rise office location Amsterdam Zuidoost. Various international organizations such as ABN AMRO, ING and British Telecom have offices here. The hustle and bustle of the Amsterdam ArenA area is only a short walk away. This area includes the Villa ArenA home furnishings centre, the Amsterdamse Poort and hotspots such as AFAS Live and Pathé ArenA Cinema.

Amsterdam Zuidoost is a rapidly expanding area of urban development. In addition to the renovation of a number of large office buildings, construction of new homes is also scheduled for the area around the Bijlmer ArenA station. This residential and shopping area is getting a significant upgrade with the addition of office buildings, including the future ING head offices at Bijlmerdreef.

CBRE worked closely with Cushman & Wakefield to advise the landlord in this transaction. JLL advised SR Group.
