Zwolle office gives CBRE nationwide coverage

Commercial property and real estate adviser CBRE is expanding its comprehensive service provision in the north-east of the Netherlands. The opening of a new regional office in Zwolle will enable CBRE to provide an even better service for its clients across the Netherlands. CBRE already has locations in Amsterdam (head office), Schiphol-Rijk, The Hague, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Eindhoven. 

Alwin Rijpstra to lead new team in Zwolle

An integrated team will advise clients on their property and accommodation issues from its base in Zwolle. Set to be fully operational by the end of this year, the team will be managed by Alwin Rijpstra (35). It will serve as the commercial hub for the market in the north-east of the Netherlands, collaborating closely with specialists from the various property disciplines. At the start, CBRE will make use of a flexible office concept, but there are plans to secure a permanent office location in Zwolle over the longer term. 

Alwin Rijpstra has broad experience in the property sector. For the last four years, he was Senior Consultant at Cushman & Wakefield for the East Netherlands region. Before that, he worked at commercial real estate companies Strijbosch Thunnissen Bedrijfsmakelaars in Arnhem and Bieze Makelaars in Apeldoorn.

Alongside Rijpstra, CBRE has also recruited Marco Vermeer for the North-East Netherlands region. He will mainly focus on advice and transaction services in the rental and letting market. Vermeer also joins CBRE from Cushman & Wakefield, where he held various positions, most recently that of Senior Consultant, Occupier Services. Before that, Vermeer’s previous employers included Procore, CVO and Tebodin.
