ASR sells shopping centre de Klanderij in Enschede

Union Investment has purchased shopping centre De Klanderij in Enschede from ASR Dutch Prime Retail Fund for UII Shopping Nr. 1, her institutional open end fund for shopping centres. De Klanderij in Enschede comprises of approx. 20,000 sq m divided over 54 stores (van Heekplein). In 2014 the mall received a BREEAM NL Very Good certificate.

Het UII Shopping Nr. 1 exists of seven objects in Belgium, Germany, France, Poland and The Netherlands with a total volume of € 470 mln. De Klanderij is fully leased.

The transaction was accompanied by The McDevitt Company. CBRE advised ASR Dutch Prime Retail Fund. Houthoff Buruma was involved as fiscal advisor and Loyens&Loeff advised Union Investment.
