Building De Ambassadeur sold in The Hague

De Ambassadeur

Hoofdproductschap voor de Akkerbouw (HPA) sold the building, named ‘De Ambassadeur’ in The Hague to B-Apart Residence in December 2014. This company is a subsidiary of the Belgian Beapart, which owns hundreds of apartments in several aparthotels in Belgium and is one of the investors to develop the former KPN building in Amsterdam Sloterdijk.

The building (about 8,000 sq m) was previously used as office space. De Ambassadeur will soon be transformed into 33 luxury apartments and a hotel. Most of the apartments are already sold.

There are transformation plans for a total of approximately 100,000 sq m of vacant office space in the city of The Hague. De Ambassadeur is, in terms of size, the number four transformation in the city. The location of the building is conveniently close to Zorgvliet, in a quiet, green and international area, and 10 minutes away from the city centre.

CBRE acted in this transaction as advisor to HPA. JLL acted on behalf of the buyer. Process manager and advisor of HPA is REDEPT.
