Danish retail concept Søstrene Grene opens in Amsterdam

Kroonenberg Groep and the Danish retail concept Søstrene Grene have signed a long-term lease agreement for apprximately 340 sq m retail space in Amsterdam (Nieuwendijk). The store will open soon after a short renovation.

Søstrene Grene (translated: The Sisters Grene) was founded in 1973 in Denmark. The formula now has several shops in home country Denmark, but also in Norway, Iceland and Sweden, France and Spain. Søstrene Grene openend in the Netherlands in 2012 in Groningen (Grote Markt). They offeer a rapidly changing and affordable range of mainly non - food products, home accessories, household items and kitchenware.

Kroonenberg Groep was supported by Kokelenberg & Ouwehand. CBRE acted on behalf of the tenant. Søstrene Grene is still looking for retail space in the bigger cities, among others in Rotterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven, Maastricht, Breda and Amersfoort.
