DELA Real Estate sells Rokin 88-90 to Dreef Beheer
DELA Real Estate has sold a retail property with redevelopment potential in the centre of Amsterdam to Dreef Beheer. The property is located at Rokin 88-90 and has a total floor space of approximately 1,300 sq. m. spread across five floors. The ground floor is leased to ING. The other floors are currently vacant and are suitable for conversion. This transaction is part of a wider sales programme.
Lodewijk Buijs, Senior Director Capital Markets at CBRE: “This transaction shows that, despite Covid-19, there is a continued demand for properties in the main shopping areas of Amsterdam in cases where value can be added through redevelopment. We have observed a trend in which private investors with a long-term vision in particular are looking beyond Covid-19 and seizing the opportunity to acquire these types of properties in inner cities.”
The vendor was commercially represented by CBRE and received legal advice from Houthoff. The buyer received legal advice from Hartman LMH.
