DELA Vastgoed sells retail properties on P.C. Hooftstraat and Leidsestraat to Amsterdam City Real Estate

DELA Vastgoed has sold two unique retail properties in the centre of Amsterdam to Amsterdam City Real Estate. The objects, which are located on Leidsestraat and P.C. Hooftstraat, are both currently let to known tenants: Eichholtz Delicatessen and Tod's. The transaction is part of a wider sales programme by DELA Vastgoed.

Loes Engwerda, Associate Director for Capital Markets at CBRE, commented: ‘We see that investors continue to have confidence in high street retail real estate. The huge interest shown in relation to both objects is evidence of this, with the property in P.C. Hooftstraat attracting the most. This came from both national and international capital, mainly from parties in the investment market who are unafraid to look beyond Covid-19 and the current difficult rental situation in both of these streets.’

The vendor was represented commercially by CBRE and received legal advice from Houthoff. The buyer received legal advice from Sarfaty Advocaten.
