Eli Lilly leases 1,405 sq m in Utrecht

Eli Lilly, an American pharmaceutical company, and Bouwfonds Investment Management have signed a long-term lease agreement for office space in the Westerstaete building in Utrecht. It concerns approximately 1,405 sq m of office space on the 6th floor and 40 parking places at Papendorpseweg 83.

The building is currently undergoing an extensive renovation, which will be completed later this year. A new company restaurant and coffee bar are added to the ground floor and a meeting centre is created on the first floor. After the renovation the Westerstaete building has energy label A to its disposal.

Westerstaete is located at office park Papendorp and is easily accessible by car because of the presence of the A2, A12 and Prins Clausbrug from Utrecht city centre.

Bouwfonds Investment Management was supported by DTZ Zadelhoff in cooperation with Ans de Wijn Bedrijfshuisvesting during this transaction.
CBRE acted on behalf of Eli Lilly and was also responsible for the project management of the tenant's office interior.
