HVBM Vastgoed developing major, sustainable DC for Ingram Micro in Tilburg

Ingram Micro CLS Benelux BV has signed a long-term lease with HVBM Vastgoed BV for a new development at the Kraaiven industrial estate in Tilburg.

Kraaiven (approx. 210 ha.) is located to the north of the city of Tilburg. The estate is bordered by the Wilhelmina Canal to the south and by the N261 to the east.

Ingram Micro provides distribution services to the largest web shops in the Netherlands. The company will use this modern, sustainable distribution centre for logistics operations for the De Bijenkorf chain of department stores. The distribution centre will supply the stores and process the concern’s e-commerce activities.

The lease is for 31,246 sq. m. of warehouse space, a mezzanine of 6,546 sq. m. and 3,233 sq. m. of office space.

The sustainable building will use no natural gas. Its custom design will be executed according to the highest standards in logistics real estate. HVBM and Ingram Micro are aiming for a building that meets the requirements for a BREEAM Outstanding certification.

Construction has already started and is progressing on schedule. Ingram Micro will take possession of the distribution centre in mid-2019.

CBRE advised HVBM Vastgoed in this transaction.
