Maripaan Groep B.V. purchases retail property (HEMA) at Paddepoel shopping centre in Groningen

Maripaan Groep B.V. has recently acquired a 2,436 sq. m. retail property at Dierenriemstraat 136 in Groningen. Built in 1958, the property located in the Paddepoel shopping centre was sold by a consortium of investors advised by Crossroads Real Estate. The property is currently being leased by HEMA B.V. The sold retail outlet was part of a portfolio of 28 HEMA shops in cities including Delft, Gouda and Hilversum that Crossroads acquired from IEF Capital in 2016.

In the acquisition Maripaan Groep B.V. was assisted by Kooistra Feenstra Bedrijfsmakelaars and was provided fiscal and legal advice by Trip Law and C&B More. CBRE acted as asset manager and sales advisor. The consortium was legally represented by international law firm Allen & Overy.
