SBM Offshore establishes headquarter in The Base Schiphol CBD

Schiphol Real Estate B.V. has signed a long-term lease with SBM Offshore Amsterdam B.V. for more than 2,500 sq m and 45 parking spaces in The Base B. The multi-tenant office is situated at Evert van de Beekstraat 1 in the Schiphol Central Business District (Centre).
 

SBM Offshore specialises in building installations for the production and storage of oil and gas products. By choosing The Base, it shows the appeal of Schiphol as a business location. Schiphol is increasingly a place for both work and leisure, which fits in well with the requirements of office users. The Base can also be very easily accessed by car and public transport, and it is within walking distance from the airport terminal.

The lessor, Schiphol Real Estate, has anticipated the demands of end users by not only upgrading The Base, but also adding a number of facilities. The building has a covered atrium with various facilities, a central reception and convenience store, a business & meeting centre, a restaurant with table service and a self-service restaurant, child care, job agencies and sports facilities. There is also space for retail and pop-up stores.
