Zonneveld ingenieurs extends lease at Central Post Rotterdam

Zonneveld ingenieurs B.V. has agreed a long-term extension to its lease with landlord Central Post I B.V. This concerns the lease on 1,160 sq. m. of office accommodation in the former station post office Central Post at Delftseplein 27H in Rotterdam.

The engineering firm rents the office accommodation on the eighth and ninth floors of the building as well as 18 parking spaces in the underground car park.

Central Post was built in the 1950s, a period of reconstruction following World War II. It served as a mail-sorting centre for many years. Because of its characteristic architecture, it was declared a national listed building at the start of this year. From 2007-2009, the entire building was refurbished and redeveloped into a modern office building. The Central Post office building is fully let, making it one of the best functioning office buildings in the Rotterdam Business District.

Zonneveld ingenieurs B.V. was advised by OPUS10 in the transaction. Central Post I B.V. was assisted by CBRE B.V.
