Guess takes lease in completely refurbished Grote Marktstraat complex in The Hague

Fashion label Guess is set to open a store in the former V&D department store building at Grote Marktstraat 50 in The Hague. Guess has agreed a long-term lease with IEF Capital, a joint venture between Bouwfonds Investment Management and IEF (Inflation Exchange Fund). The retail space covers a surface area of approximately 210 sq. m. on the ground floor and around 230 sq. m. on the first floor.

The former V&D Department store building in The Hague is undergoing thorough renovation to create four retail units on the Grote Marktstraat side, the largest tenant being Hudson’s Bay. Hudson’s Bay is currently completing its renovation work. The Decathlon and Stradivarius stores are already trading.

In this transaction, Guess was advised by Brickstone Retail. CBRE represented the landlord IEF Capital.
