NWO rents space in Nova Zembla office building in Utrecht
The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) has signed a contract with Nexus Real Estate for the lease of over 4,700 sq. m. in the Nova Zembla office building on Winthontlaan in Utrecht.
The Nova Zembla building, which has an EPC A Label, is a 14-storey landmark building located immediately next to the A12 motorway. The agreement covers approximately 400 sq. m. of office space between the 1st and 13th floor and 70 on-site parking spaces. The building will be completely renovated, with the owner and tenant working closely together.
The new office space is required due to the expansion of NWO. The organization also wished to centralize its office and meeting facilities in a single location.
The Nova Zembla building enjoys excellent accessibility, both by road and public transport. There are fast and direct connections to the A2 and A12 motorways (to Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport, Rotterdam, The Hague and Den Bosch).
