Replacement fund/private equity fund rents in Willemswerf
The administrative office for the Replacement Fund and Private Equity Fund for primary education leases 1200 sq. m. of office space in the Willemswerf de Nieuwe Maas office building in Rotterdam. The landlord is ASR Levensverzekering N.V.
Willemswerf is located at Boompjes 40, Rotterdam. This office building has a striking design, by Amsterdam-based architect Wim Quist. Seventeen of the building’s floors have been designed as office space, adding up to a total net floor space of 37,000 sq. m. In recent years, the complex has been fully updated and is now a full-service, multi-tenant building that has retained its traditional character.
Five floors serve as a parking facility, with parking spaces for up to 450 vehicles. The lease for the Replacement Fund/Private Equity Fund includes six parking spaces.
The building is easily accessible by car and by public transport. The Rotterdam Bus Station is only a two-minute walk away and the Rotterdam Blaak train station and metro station are only 400 meters from the building.
The Replacement Fund and Private Equity Fund Foundations benefit primary education. They support school boards in their efforts to boost employee satisfaction among teachers and guarantee the continuity of education. The funds reimburse the costs of replacing sick members of staff and pay unemployment benefits for primary school teachers.
Both funds are undergoing a major overhaul to improve and update their services and ensure lower absenteeism and unemployment in education on a lasting basis. In early December, the employees will move to their new workplace with a wide view of the river Meuse and the city of Rotterdam.
