Vastint sells Rivierstaete to international investor

Vastint Netherlands sells Rivierstaete, an office complex at Amsteldijk 166 in Amsterdam to an international investment fund with involvement of Rubens Capital Partners. The complex of 30,000 sq. m. includes 330 parking spaces and has recently been completely renovated. This transaction is de largest single asset deal of 2018 in the Netherlands.

The building is ideally located on the banks of the River Amstel, within walking distance of Amsterdam Amstel railway and metro station and a five-minute drive from the A10 and A2 motorways. Rivierstaete is fully leased to several tenants including WPP, a global advertising and PR company, as well as tech company Messagebird and Regus.

The redeveloped complex was designed by MVSA Architects. The transparent glass façade gives the building an open and accessible feel, with lots of daylight. This connection between inside and outside contributes to a healthy work climate. Also, the sustainability of the building was improved, and it will acquire a BREEAM Very Good certification.

CBRE, Houthoff and PwC advised Vastint during the transaction. The buyer was advised by Rubens Capital Partners and Loyens & Loeff.
