CBRE Reinforces ESG and Sustainability Capabilities in Continental Europe

Global real estate advisor CBRE today announced that Sustainability expert Steffen Walvius has joined CBRE. Steffen will lead the Energy & Carbon service offerings across Continental Europe, expanding the suite of ESG & Sustainability services the company delivers to clients.

CBRE also welcomes Martin Vejrazka, who will share his time working closely with Steffen as Energy & Carbon Modelling Director, Continental Europe, and Head of ESG & Sustainability, Czech. Steffen and Martin will be part of the Continental Europe ESG & Sustainability team led by Ludovic Chambe.

Steffen and Martin join CBRE’s 250 experts, operating across 22 European countries, delivering transformational strategy and implementation to fulfil our client's environmental and social ambitions.

Steffen Walvius has over ten years of international experience in the construction, energy, and real estate sectors. He has worked with investors, developers, owners, and managers to improve corporate ESG, portfolio sustainability and advisory on green buildings. Steffen is an active member of the RICS Europe Sustainability Working Group and part of the CRREM (Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor) committee.

With about 40% of the world’s carbon emissions coming from the built environment, CBRE is already helping hundreds of companies to effectively plan, deploy and measure success in their transition to a low carbon economy.
