Nidera leases 4,500 sq m in De Rotterdam

De Rotterdam I BV has entered into a lease with Nidera, a company that trades in agricultural commodity products such as grain and oilseeds. The lease covers the entire fifth floor of De Rotterdam, or about 4,500 sq m. Nidera has immediately begun to design a concept for its new work environment for when it takes up residence in De Rotterdam, with the expectation that the 230 employees at its headquarters will move in by the end of the year.

Ton van der Laan, CEO of Nidera Group, remarked, “This iconic building, its international image and the fact that our 230 employees will be taking up an entire large floor bodes well for our vision and working methods. This move will also help us make more efficient connections within our company between the different links in our process chains.”

Mischa Molsbergen, Project Director of De Rotterdam, said, “Nidera is a terrific tenant for De Rotterdam. It's a global company for which quality, innovation and sustainability are high priorities, and it does business all over the world. The international outlook alone leads me to expect that De Rotterdam, with all of its facilities and services such as the hotel, conference centre and restaurants, will be an added value for this Dutch company.”
