"Best Shopping Centre in the Netherlands 2015" will be announced at PROVADA

On Thursday 4 June the "Best Shopping Centre in the Netherlands 2015" will be announced at the PROVADA Real Estate Exhibition. This biennial award is based on the shopping centre quality monitor, which measures, assesses and compares shopping centres in the Netherlands. The review is an initiative of real estate advisor CBRE, Locatus and Cyber.

The shopping centre quality monitor was carried out for the first time in 2013 and will be held biennially. Over the past few months, assessments have been performed in more than 60 purpose-built Dutch shopping centres of at least 10,000 sq. m (store surface area). These have resulted in an objective, independent league table and benchmark. In each shopping centre three core qualities are measured: basic (clean, safe and intact), service and experience. These core qualities are assessed on the basis of 65 indicators.

By means of this monitor CBRE, Locatus and Cyber aim to contribute to improving the quality level of shopping centres in the Netherlands. In 2013 Stadshart Amstelveen won the title of best shopping centre in the Netherlands.
