Dudok Patisserie opens at Zuidas, first in Amsterdam

The Rotterdam patisserie Dudok opened its first Amsterdam pastry shop this week. Dudok Patisserie Group – well-known for its fresh apple pie – has signed a long-term lease with Union Investment Real Estate GmbH for approximately 120 sq m of retail space on the ground floor of the Claude Debussylaan 269 location in Amsterdam.

Dudok first set up shop over a quarter century ago in Rotterdam’s trendy shopping street, De Meent. In the small café, Dudok’s patissier baked delectable apple pies to the delight of their customers. In addition to the locations in Rotterdam and Amsterdam, fans can also visit Dudok cafés in Arnhem, Tilburg and The Hague. The new Amsterdam location naturally features the famous apple pie, along with around twenty other types of sweet and savoury cakes, pies and gateaux.

CBRE advised the landlord in this transaction.
