Woonhave acquires 112 homes in Amsterdam

Woonhave has bought 112 homes from a private investor. The homes are located in 31 connected buildings on Van Spilbergenstraat in Amsterdam's De Baarsjes district.

The buildings are characterised by their attractive inner-city architecture and are conveniently located close to Mercatorplein, the Rembrandtpark and the A10 ring road. Some of the homes have been renovated to a high standard, with several top-floor apartments having a roof terrace.

CBRE provided support for the sale on behalf of the vendor, while Osborne Clarke acted as the legal advisor to the vendor. Woonhave received legal advice from Houthoff.

‘We were delighted to be able to complete this investment within just a few weeks. This beautiful 1930s residential block is well-maintained and conveniently located within Amsterdam, where there is very high demand for rental properties. This purchase fits in well with our objective of continuing to expand our portfolio of rental properties and operating these on a long-term basis.’
