Time Equities Inc purchases office campus of over 14,000 sq. m. in Deventer

Time Equities Inc. (TEI) has recently purchased an office campus at Staverenstraat 15-17 in Deventer. The complex has a total floorspace of 14,341 sq. m. and 350 parking spaces and consists of three office buildings; building A with a surface area of 4,716 sq. m., building B with a surface area of 6,761 sq. m. and building C with a surface area of 2,864 sq. m. The entire property covers a plot measuring 22,342 sq. m.

Buildings with their own identity

Building A was recently renovated to a high standard and is complete with a new fit-out, including a representative meeting centre and catering facility on the ground floor. The renovation has made the building completely future-proof.

Buildings B and C are currently only partially leased. TEI will be renovating both buildings and making them more sustainable in accordance with the new SQM Offices concept. The campus-like setting gets a boost by the addition of green and diverse facilities and the buildings are each given their own identity. In this way the offices will fit in better with the various target groups in the strong creative IT and Tech sector in Deventer.

Clubhouse function

John Schepens, Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management at Time Equities Inc. in the Netherlands: “In the post-corona era, many offices will become more like clubhouses, where a good work-life balance will be playing an even more prominent role. The spacious campus-like setting and our new SQM concept are how we meet these new needs, by facilitating relaxation and working in the same location.”

CBRE provided expert advice to the vendor on this transaction. The buyer TEI received legal advice from Houthoff.
