CBRE expands healthcare real estate team.

CBRE bolsters its healthcare real estate team with the addition of three new team members. The expansion follows a continuous growth of the real estate market and the growing demand for advice in this real estate sector.

In February, Susan van der Koppel-Nagelmaeker joined the team as a Senior Consultant. Susan previously worked at Syntrus Achmea, where she gained twelve years of experience in healthcare real estate. In her new role at CBRE, her main tasks include working on strategic housing challenges faced by healthcare institutions, investors, developers and builders. Two internal appointments will also take place. Chantal Hout is switching from the valuation department to the capital markets team for healthcare real estate. Ayda Naser Zadeh, former trainee at CBRE, will support the healthcare real estate team in the area of valuations.

Annette van der Poel, Associate Director and manager of the healthcare real estate team: “This expansion has resulted in a strong team with experts in all areas of healthcare real estate. This allows us to provide a comprehensive service package to the healthcare real estate market and meet the growing demand in this sector.”

Growth healthcare real estate team

With the addition of our new employees, the healthcare real estate team now consists of eleven fulltime members plus another ten individuals who dedicate a considerable portion of their working hours to healthcare real estate. CBRE created the team approximately six years ago with the intention of adding healthcare-specific expertise to its range of services. This expertise is important to clients in healthcare as it can help them get the most out of their real estate portfolio, guaranteeing an optimal financial as well as social return. The team provides daily services to a wide range of healthcare institutions, housing corporations, investors and developers in the Netherlands.

CBRE has recently compiled a new healthcare real estate special outlining current developments in the healthcare sector.
